The Passing of a Legend
It's been a long time, but I wanted to share some news with some of the vets that perhaps remember a rather unique ork and his dark elf sidekick.
Nazdreg Grishnak. Static. Daniel. He was known by many names, and I was one of the few lucky enough to know him personally. He was a friend, a father, and someone that evoked a reaction from anyone he met. Whether you loved him or hated him, you really couldn't just dismiss him. Today is quite possibly one of the saddest days of my life, as he was taken from us suddenly at far too young of an age. He passed peacefully, the doctors assured us that it happened so quickly it was literally as if he went to sleep to never awaken. While that is somewhat of a comfort, it still leaves a void that is nearly impossible to fill at this moment. His daughter, in true orkish fashion, is holding up as well as any young child can, but since Narmir was such a large part of Nazzy's history, I thought it was important to let those of you that remain know what happened. I realize many of the youngbloods here may not recognize the name, but if any of the vets would like more information, please feel free to email me at chibimala@yahoo.com ~Malache~ |

Re: The Passing of a Legend
Sad to hear about his passing.
Its been many years since I frequented Narmir, but I remember Naz well (ingame, never knew him in real life) Words doesnt ease the pain you are feeling for this loss, so hope you are and will do fine... |

Re: The Passing of a Legend
wow... speachless. Role played with that old orc so often. As Tharis said, I didnt know him in real life either but chatted with him often enough that it seemed like I did. Hate to read such sad news.

Truly sorry to hear of his passing. He was a blast to chat with and made a deep impression on a lot of players here.

Re: The Passing of a Legend
My brother from another mother is looking down from the heavens he was so unsure about. I tip this tankard to you old pal, and one day we will share one together again. Farewell old friend. You will always have a place in The Runaways.
