Re: Help
The "Play Narmir" link on the left is how you enter the game to play it.
The FAQ section covers some aspects. The help and other links on the left allows you to get to help sites that will help you understand how to play the game. Finally once inside the game you will see a chat button. Inside chat you can ask for help from other players. |

Re: Help
also a lot of the game is trial and error. that and finding a strategy that suits you. all anyone can do really is give you advice, playing the game is the only real way to get to figuring it out. basically have fun and if you do get frustrated or get a desire to strangle your computer with its own cords, then ask someone what they think might help.

Re: Help
If you come to chat most anyone will be willing to help you and answer questions for you..
You will get the hang of it and then beable to forum your own way of playing |

Re: Help
Hi everyone...i was just wondering something about the spell casting races. I picked High Elves because i wanted to be really strong with my spells...but i was wondering how effective it really is to have a spellcasting race? i can't really attack other kingdoms because my fighters and rangers get smashed but i can't gain land and stuff from casting spells...are the spellcasters more used just for helping more warlike races get successful attacks?
it doesn't seem like i can really do much against anyone. also, should i really just be focusing on studying spellbook, attack magic/defense magic and hiring mages? any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! thanks everyone |

Re: Help
First of all, any race can be decent at spells now with the point system added and in turn, magic races can be really good at war. It's all in the placement of your points. I personally prefer to war with magic races. If you want a straight out magic account, which is most often used as back up support, then you want all your research maxed out asap (spellbook has no max). You also want to concentrate on rangers. Don't get many fighters tho you do want some clerics in case of attack. HE also do well with a mix of warmachines if you want to try some warring with them. You also might want to check out the race of the person you're hitting. If you're hitting cyclops or hillies then chances are, you're going to be repelled. My advice is this, run more then 1 account. Make a new magic race and put the points in for war and spells. Get a couple of war races and if you're interested a dark elf or 2 for covert. Experimentation is truely one of the best ways to learn how to play and what race fits you.
