Default Adding an Avatar

In order to add an avatar, you MUST have the avatar saved on your computer. When you find the avatar you want (which can be any type of file [.jpg, .gif, etc.] unless further investigation prooves otherwise, click the submit button. If the avatar does not load, then it may be that:

1. Your avatar does not have the correct length and width measurements.
2. Your avatar has too many bytes.
3. Your avatar is of the incorrect file type (.jpg, .gif, etc.).

If you do not have a way to minimize a picture to the correct size, then you will already be in a hard situation.

Avatars have to be 150x150 pixels. If they are not at or below these measurements, then the avatar will not load.

Next, avatars cannot be any larger in byte size than 35000 bytes. If they are higher than this, then they will need to be lessened in some way. Your best bet for fixing this would probably be paint.

I prefer to use http://www.myimager.com to adjust avatars and sig pics to my liking. not only will it resize and add text, but there are many other things as well.

Also, to help resize pics (in case your picture is too big for http://myimager.com or if the ending [.jpg, .gif] is incorrect, the Nero image editor will help. It comes with the Nero CD burner. Paint should be a really helpful one as well, however, I do not know much about using it... if someone else would like to comment on it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Feel free to post any questions you may have.
